Cereal, milk, and sugar offered an easy solution for busy families, and companies like Kellogg’s and Post capitalized on it brilliantly.
They positioned processed grains as the healthy choice, claiming they were fortified with essential vitamins and minerals. But here’s the truth: that “balanced breakfast” was never about balance. It was about shelf life, profit margins, and industrial convenience, not about what our bodies truly need to thrive.
