What Happened to Your Greatness?

Three Ways to Remember Your Greatness

 

The key to achieving greatness is consistency. Having a clear idea of what it takes to get results, and being able to repeat those steps over and over again, gives you a much better chance at finding success. Know that being consistent doesn’t necessarily mean “being perfect.” It means making an effort over time. It may take a few attempts to get a new project or business up and running, but as you continue to try and try again, you should gain a greater understanding of what works, and why.

Being consistent means learning from your mistakes and avoiding the same behavior patterns over and over again.  focus on being more mindful of how you are spending your time. When you are more conscious of how you’re spending your time, you can take the necessary steps to change your habits and ultimately improve yourself.

 

Step One: Look at Life As a Big Picture. The View from Above

When you have an overview of things in your life, you can see more clearly why you may need to do certain activities. It’s like taking a step back from a close-up photograph and allowing yourself to take in a panoramic view of the whole flower, not just one petal, to understand how this piece fits into the greater whole.

 

Step Two:  Simplify Your Life
This may have many meanings to it. One example is if you’ve been searching for a path to freedom, or a way to find peace with the current state of your home, work or lifestyle – simplifying your life may be the answer. It can be a long journey, but the rewards of peeling back layers of clutter, excess, distractions and busyness are well worth it.

If your days feel rushed, chaotic and never ending, it’s likely because you’re spending too much time managing all of the stuff in your home (and the stuff that contributes to the mess), working to pay for it all and/or running around in circles trying to get everything done. You can reclaim your life from the endless rushing and juggling that keeps you disconnected from your home, family, friends, health and your interests by simplifying.

In other words, less stuff means less to clean, fewer items to lose or break and more time for activities that bring you joy. This could include reading, dancing, hiking, gardening or simply sitting down to enjoy a cup of tea and a conversation with your best friend.

 

Step Three: Stepping into your power
Inner strength is a powerful force that can help you to overcome adversity and lead to a fulfilling life. It’s built through resilience, positive self-belief, and courage. And it’s fostered by a growth-oriented mindset that promotes learning, innovation and excellence.

Finding your inner power takes a bit of determination – it’s one of the most rewarding experiences you can have in your lifetime. It’s a journey of self-love, acceptance and wholeness that requires you to let go of the limiting beliefs, false judgements and conditioned thoughts you’ve picked up over time. It means following your intuition and embracing your emotions, learning the lessons that each experience offers and working through them. This allows you to reclaim the true, innate power that resides within each of us all along.

As you set out on this journey, it’s important to surround yourself with like-minded people who encourage and support you in your endeavors. It’s also a great idea to invest in yourself and your personal development.

Try new things, take up a hobby, learn a skill, challenge your beliefs and do things that scare you. This helps you grow and develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, which will come in handy when you’re faced with difficult situations in the future. These will empower you to stay grounded and tenacious in the face of adversity. It’s the a great way to cultivate true strength.
